Who are Boomerang Funding?

Boomerang Funding specialise in funding contractors and temporary workers with simple, risk free solutions. They are the go-to funding partner for recruitment businesses who are either starting
out or expanding their recruitment business.

The Situation

Boomerang Funding is growing at a rapid rate of knots. Since 2016, the team has more than doubled in size and Managing Director, Paul Dewick, still has roles to fill. With an urgent requirement for people who could hit the ground running, they turned to ISV for help.

The Solution

Boomerang were recruiting for roles across their Accounts and Credit control team. Since all positions needed to have a good level of numeracy, an understanding of using Excel and, most importantly, knowledge of the Sage accounting package, Paul asked candidates to undergo skills testing as part of the selection process.

Applications were initially sifted to create a first phase shortlist based on CV’s. From here, all the shortlisted candidates were sent a link to take a variety of accounting assessments including using Sage. Only the top candidates were invited for interview since the team could be sure they had the knowledge to deliver in their role.
