We are recruiting for a smart, hard-working individual to join our team, based in our Basingstoke office. Could you be the one for us?

If you are a positive, customer-focused person who is willing to learn then we would love to hear from  you. We’re looking for an apprentice or junior member of the team for this Customer Service Role.

Recruiting – Customer Service Administrator

Job purpose – To provide first line support to ISV’s recruitment customers and administration support to the Sales and Account Management team.

The overriding aim of this role is to retain business by providing exceptional service. This position is based at our sister company’s office, Voyager Software at Chineham Business Park, Basingstoke.

The successful individual will ideally have good maths and English skills, some customer service experience, be supportive, pro-active and a willing to learn. Excellent listening skills are essential as are written and verbal communication skills.

After training, you will be responding to incoming customer service enquiries to the business, sorting basic from technical queries and passing them onto the relevant team member, providing ongoing service to existing clients and you’ll work closely with the marketing, account management and sales team to provide admin support.

Duties:

 

  • Responding to incoming customer service enquiries by phone and email. First line support for the ISV brand (non-technical)
  • Escalating any technical enquiries to the support/ tech team
  • Regular customer service/ account management calls to a portfolio of existing accounts
  • Managing customer accounts, monitoring usage of software and dealing with any queries
  • Gaining feedback on customer requirements and sharing with the wider team
  • Supporting the sales, customer service and account management functions by providing administrative support e.g. setting up webinars, updating customer database etc
  • Identifying any sales opportunities and passing them to the relevant colleague
  • Comprehensive reporting and record keeping on all customer contact via a cloud-based CRM system
  • Opportunity to learn and support on marketing projects
  • Very occasional requirements to attend customer meetings, trade shows, exhibitions or client facing events
  • Plus any other reasonable, supportive tasks as required by the business

 

Ideal Qualities:

 

  • Some experience in customer service is desirable
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Good listening skills and willing to learn
  • Self-starter and comfortable working as part of a small team
  • Competent and accurate keyboard/ word processing skills
  • Good IT knowledge particularly of MS Office and internet packages
  • Good written communication skills and literacy
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic

Salary range – really does depend on experience. Apprenticeships from £12k, experienced individuals up to £20k.
