Date: 22 August 2018Earlier this year, ISV Software’s Head of Customer Service, David Little, conquered the Inca Trail. Inspired by his adventures and the ISV tagline of ‘testing and training people’, MD Amanda Davies took on a challenge of her own. This month, Amanda climbed her first mountain reaching the summit of Snowdon, the UK’s highest peak outside of Scotland at 1085m. Opting for the challenging Snowdon Ranger Path, Amanda and companions, including her Welsh Springer Spaniel Alfie, followed the zig zagging, steep path to Snowdon’s summit. Cloudy weather meant the views from the top were obscured, although we do have photographic evidence of the challenge! Reaching the Summit The trek took nearly 7 hours and covered 8 miles. “This was a real test for me, not having done anything like it before,” said Amanda. “At ISV we are all about testing people, David has set the bar with his adventures and fundraising so I thought it was time to join him. When I was cold, wet and clambering over loose rocks up the final climb, I definitely felt challenged!” The team at ISV are exploring their next test either jointly or as individuals, watch this space for more adventures.
