Another month and it’s another awards bash for the recruitment industry. Last week saw ISV Clients win big at the annual Global Recruiter awards hosted by the industry publication and, as always, it was a sparkling affair. The Global Recruiter awards recognise the great and good of the UK recruitment industry, as judged by a panel of industry experts. An event to remember As always, Gary, Trevor and the team from Global Recruiter pulled together a well organised ‘do’. There were classy nibbles, the drinks flowed (and it was only 3pm!) and we were treated to all singing/dancing entertainment. Thanks for your hospitality GR team, it never disappoints! Recruiters and recruitment industry suppliers gathered in London’s Café de Paris for the big event. The venue itself is quite a statement, with a mezzanine gallery, sweeping staircase and an impressive chandelier. Fuelled by a welcome drink or two, several hundred recruiters waited for the winners to be revealed. Congratulations! It was great to see some of ISV’s clients and friends win big and take home some of the top awards. We were delighted to celebrate with them, including the likes of: Meridian Business Support, it was great to see the Meridian team and celebrate with Fred Ewing who won Best Permanent Consultant. Best Marketing Campaign went to the team at Randstad for their returning to work campaign. And congratulations to the team from Cordant People who came away with a Highly Commended in the award for Best Candidate Attraction through Social Media. We’re sure the celebrations continued long into the evening, and deservedly so. The recruitment industry is a tough place to be and it’s rare to get everyone in the same room so why not celebrate the good things. For a full list of winners at the GR Awards head here.
