Last month, the ISV Software team headed to Olympia, London to exhibit at the recruitment industry’s biggest event – The Recruitment Agency Expo. From the start the ISV team had a busy two days catching up with faces familiar and new. We really enjoyed talking with so many clients, prospective clients and friends about how skills testing helps the hiring process and enhances the client and candidate experience. As well as enjoying a busy exhibition stand, it was great to see how many people attended our seminar held on day 2 of the expo. ISV’s Managing Director, Amanda Davies, hosted a session on ‘The Perfect Match – Using Testing to Find the Best Candidates’ alongside one of our clients, Kimberly Hannaford from Tek Experts Global Limited. Together they talked about finding the perfect match in a market that is short of quality, skilled candidates. The cost of a bad hire has been estimated at more than 3 times salary, so finding the right people to recruit is more important than ever. We shared how using testing not only improves your chances of finding the right candidate but it also improve staff retention. Tek Experts saw more than a 15% improvement in their attrition rates in some of their global centres, all down to using ISV’s recruitment testing.
